This Refund, Cancellation & Returns Policy (“Policy”) applies to purchases made through any website, platform, or checkout operated by Synercate Ltd and its associated brands/projects (collectively, “we,” “us,” “our”), including: Synercate EA (affiliate for exclusive Rwanda Clients), InvestComPro, WealthArbiter, CompositeInsider (GIPSPodcast), SustainWealth, and related offerings (the “Services”).
This Policy is part of our Terms of Use.
To request a refund or cancellation, email ‘support@synercate.com, Subject: Refund Request’ with:

Reason for request (helpful, not always required)
Refund method: Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method where possible. Processing times vary by provider and may take several business days to reflect.

Proof of purchase required.

No prorated refunds for subscriptions (see Section 7).

Fees outside our control (e.g., currency conversion, bank charges, processor fees that are non-recoverable) may reduce the refunded amount.

We may deny refunds where we reasonably believe there is fraud, abuse, policy circumvention, or Terms violations.

Chargebacks: If a chargeback is filed before we can review a request, we may pause the request until the chargeback is resolved.

Digital Products: templates, toolkits, PDFs, spreadsheets, recordings, downloadable files, and other digital resources.

Courses/Training: self-paced courses, recorded programs, cohort programs, training portals, micro-courses.
-
Subscriptions/Memberships: recurring access to content/tools/community or ongoing services.

Coaching: 1-on-1 sessions, group coaching, on-demand coaching, packages, or coaching delivered live.

Consulting/B2B Services: advisory/implementation support, projects management, corporate training, custom deliverables under a proposal/SOW/MSA.

Events: workshops, conferences, in-person trainings, paid webinars (live/hybrid).
PRODUCT- AND SERVICE-SPECIFIC TERMS
All digital product sales are final once delivered, accessed, or downloaded.
Because digital items cannot be returned, refunds are only provided if:

The file is defective/corrupted/unusable and we cannot provide a working replacement within a reasonable time; or
-
You were charged incorrectly (duplicate charge, wrong product due to our error); or
-
The transaction was unauthorized and verified; or
-
A refund is required by applicable law.
We do not offer refunds for:

Change of mind
-
Lack of use
-
Buying the wrong item (unless required by law)

Incompatibility due to your missing software or settings (unless we misrepresented requirements)
A) Self-paced / recorded courses (default rule)
You may request a refund within 7 days of purchase only if:

You have completed no more than 10% of the course content, and
-
You have not downloaded/claimed any major proprietary resources intended for retention (e.g., full toolkits, exclusive template bundles).
If these thresholds are exceeded, the course is non-refundable.
B) Cohort-based / live-supported programs
Because seats and staff time are reserved, the following applies unless your sales page or contract states otherwise:

Full refund up to 7 days before the cohort start date

50% refund from 6 days to 48 hours before start
-
No refund within 48 hours of start, or after the cohort begins
Transfers: We may allow a one-time transfer to a future cohort if requested at least 48 hours before start (subject to availability).
C) Third-party fees
Exam fees, third-party certification fees, proctoring fees, and other pass-through costs are generally non-refundable once paid/issued.

Canceling stops future renewals. You keep access until the end of the current billing period.

No prorated refunds for partial billing periods.

Trial/intro pricing (if offered) converts to the standard rate unless canceled before renewal.
A) Session-based coaching (1-on-1 or group sessions)

You must cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours before a scheduled session to avoid forfeiting the session fee/credit.

Cancellations/reschedules within 48 hours of the session start time, late arrivals beyond a reasonable grace period, or no-shows are typically non-refundable and may be forfeited (we may reschedule at our discretion in exceptional cases).
B) Coaching packages
Unless your package terms state otherwise:

Any deposit/retainer is non-refundable once paid, as it reserves your slot and planning capacity.

Once package delivery begins, refunds are generally not available for completed work/sessions.
-
Unused sessions may be forfeited if the package expires (if an expiry date applies).
C) On-demand coaching (subscription-style)
If coaching is offered on an on-demand basis through a subscription or membership, subscription terms apply (see Section 6), including no prorated refunds.
For consulting/advisory engagements and corporate training, the controlling terms are your signed proposal, SOW, MSA, or engagement letter.
If no written agreement exists, the default rules are:

Discovery/onboarding/setup fees and retainers are non-refundable once work begins.

Payments tied to completed milestones are non-refundable once delivered.
-
If a client terminates early, the client remains responsible for fees for work performed up to the termination date.

Client-caused delays (missing inputs/approvals) may result in rescheduling and timeline changes; where significant, we may invoice for work completed and reserve the right to re-quote timing and availability.
A) In-person events/workshops
Unless stated otherwise on the event page:

Full refund up to 14 days before the event

50% refund from 13 days to 7 days before the event
-
No refund within 7 days of the event
Transfers to another attendee may be allowed with written notice (subject to verification).
B) Paid live webinars (virtual)
Unless stated otherwise:

Full refund up to 48 hours before start
-
No refund within 48 hours, but we may provide access to the recording if offered
If you purchase a bundle (e.g., course + toolkit + coaching), refunds are evaluated based on what has been delivered/accessed. If any component becomes non-refundable under the applicable section above, the bundle may be non-refundable.
If you experience technical problems, contact support@synercate.com/support@investcompro.com/support@wealtharbiter.com (based on where product was purchased). We will try to fix access promptly. Refunds are considered when:

The issue is on our side,

It materially prevents access, and
-
We cannot resolve it within a reasonable time.
We do not offer store credits as a standard fallback when refunds are not available. Any goodwill exceptions are entirely at our discretion.
Purchases may be processed in different currencies depending on your location and checkout provider. Refunds are processed in the original transaction currency where possible. Exchange rate differences and bank fees may affect the amount you receive.
Nothing in this Policy limits any rights you may have under mandatory consumer protection or other applicable laws. Where the law requires a different outcome than this Policy, we will comply with that law.
